The City of Coldspring budget is prepared by city administration and Mayor and approved by the City Council. The goal of the Budget is to evaluate needs, programs and future endeavors. During budget workshops, with information provided by staff and city departments, the proposed budget is developed. On or before November 1, a draft budget is presented to the Council for review and discussion. The proposed budget is considered for approval at the December City Council meeting.
The fiscal year of the City of Coldspring begins January 1 and ends December 31.
