Requirements for Elected Office
The requirements for Elected Office are listed below and all applicants must meet these requirements. It these requirements are not met the applicants will be notified.
Mayor
- Texas Resident for at least one (1) year prior to filing deadline.
- City of Coldspring Resident for twelve (12) months prior to Election Day.
- At least eighteen (18) years of age;
- Registered voter of the City of Coldspring by the application filing deadline.
Aldermen
- Texas Resident at least one (1) year prior to filing deadline.
- City of Coldspring Resident for six (6) months prior to Election Day.
- At least eighteen (18) years of age or older.
- Registered voter of the City of Coldspring by the application filing deadline.
